The Painting Process
The process of our Adelaide roof painting is extensive to ensure the finish is fantastic for years to come. Firstly, we begin with high-pressure cleaning, which is undoubtedly the most important step. Our team uses a Honda 4000psi high-pressure water cleaner which effectively removes any dirt, grime, moss, and builds up. A clean surface is vital to strong adhesion and smooth paint application, so we never miss this step! If you have a tiled roof, the next step is to make all the necessary repairs. This might be re-pointing and re-bedding your ridge caps or replacing tiles all together. After this step, we move onto a 3-coat process to increase longevity. We use a mould inhibitor, a primer/sealer, and then apply two coats of either Dulux or Acryloc paint. Customers can choose which colour and finish they would like for their roof painting – with heat reflective roof paint options available.
