CONCRETE TILE ROOF AT CORROMANDEL VALLEY
This was an exceedingly dirty roof as can be seen from the image on the left. It required rebedding repairs, repointing of all ridgecaps, and due to its location in the Adelaide Hills was sprayed with and algaecide prior to priming the roof, which inhibits the regrowth of mould. The paint chosen was Astec EC100 and the colour was Woodland Grey.
It was a long clean due to the dirt and lichen on the roof and the tile had lost fully its surface coating so it was now very porous. We had to apply a very thick coat of Primer/Sealer so as to eliminate patchiness following the final top coat.
Alltogether we were very happy with the result as were the owners.
