This restoration involved both a separate garage and the house. The owner was restoring the property and the eves were asbestos. To remove the asbestos the hip ends had to be fully removed. The tile type is called a Hollowstone which is difficult to clean as it has valley under the front of the tile which must be cleaned. Following cleaning, the hip ends were re-bed with new concrete, then all the ridgecaps were repointed with a specialist pointing product that covers all cracks, locks in the ridge caps, yet expands and contracts with the weather. A Primer and 2 coats of Dulux Acratex Membrane were then applied.
